Truth About Possessions: Legion

We can get many spirit possession information from movies, intranet or even from occult books. But not many put emphasis on the number of spirits that may possess a person better than that described in the Christian Bible.

The Gospel of Mark, 5:9, describes the following in the country of the Gadarenes:

And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), "What is thy name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion: for we are many."

It is indeed true that spirits come in groups. This is not a surprised to the western exorcists who are well versed in Biblical studies, but to the eastern counterparts who treated spirit possessions lightly may find themselves in hot soup as at the end of the day these unwary exorcists found that it is a whole legion of demons they are dealing with. Unless the exorcists also possess a group of armies to deal with the legion; we can only pray for their well being. Just think how would a magician with a few kid spirits to deal with a legion of spirits?

A real serious possession will have telltale signs. Below are just a list of some of the signs and symptoms:

·         Signs of internal hemorrhage but not the ordinary dark green spots. Instead the color is somehow deep purple.

·         Loss of hairs in certain spots as if being pulled by unknown forces at night.

·         Signs of injuries as if being scratched by claws.

·         Extreme foul smell such that of rotten bodies.

·         Cannot move body, lying flat with stiff body and with excessive eye movements

·         Exhibit excessive strength and violent, difficult to overpower even with a few macho men. In this situation, even the exorcist may be harmed by the victim.

·         Materialization of ectoplasm or a jelly like substances from the body of the possessed.

If an exorcist overlooked the seriousness of his exorcism ritual, he/she may find him/herself involve in an endless loop of struggle with various spirits until even the exorcist is possessed by the legion. Perhaps it is time for the magicians in the east to look into what the west has to offer in dealing with the legions.
